The D.O.C Rub, Deliciousness on Command! Recipe Ideas!!

As we crafted our Detroit-style Pizza Dough Mix and Sauce, we had another delicious idea baking on the side: a signature Pizza Rub. It took a few rounds of perfecting, adjusting textures, and finding just the right balance, but we finally created what we felt was the ultimate topping to sprinkle on any freshly baked pizza.

When we shared our Pizza Rub with friends to test out, their reactions couldn’t have been better—they confirmed it was an amazing addition to pizza. But then something unexpected happened: they began experimenting, and soon we were hearing about all kinds of creative ways they were using it! Popcorn, roasted vegetables, Chex Mix, burgers, steak, shrimp, scallops—you name it, they tried it.

Inspired by their enthusiasm, we decided to jump in too. Now, it’s the go-to seasoning in our kitchen for burgers and steaks… seriously, trust us on this one! With its versatility and flavor, we couldn’t keep it all to ourselves, so we pulled together a few simple recipes for you to try with the D.O.C. rub.
